Sarah Jane Smith finds herself alone in the wastelands of the battle torn planet Skaro

Feeling a sense that she is being persued by unseen entities she takes refuge in the ruins of a building. But the building is not empty: a strange being is overseeing the testing of a new weapon - an armed Dalek.
